You know one of those days when you just...just drive and go anywhere? Those days when you just don't have a specific destination? Well, I had one of those days today. Our family jumped in the car and just drove and drove. We passed the beaches, factories, skyscrapers (fine, Uruguay's skyscrapers aren't that...sky-scraping), until we arrived to the countryside. There were only grasses and cows, nothing else. I mean, excluding shrubs, trees, and tall golden-colored barely-looking things.
In fact, I made a YouTube video, if you guys are interested in taking a peek.
I managed to take some photos of the beautiful buildings there. And there's one thing I really regret: not taking enough photos! There were wild roosters running around, a part of a train-track, grass-grazing goats, and gazillions of other picture-worth things lying around! While I don't have a professional camera (boo) and am terrible at taking good quality pictures with my phone, I'm still very interested in capturing such moments. One day...one day I'll get a good camera.
Probably one of the best things about this wine brewery were the kittens. First of all, they are extremely friendly. I'm usually TERRIFIED of small creatures, even if they are covered in 100 layers of fluff and look completely innocent. I have no idea why, but I just am. But these kittens? Oh, my gosh, they changed me. They changed me completely. This feeling that I'm feeling right now -- it's ineffable.
Just look at that side profile. Just look at it.
Overall, I'm excited to go back to this place and get a proper tour! Because we arrived kind of late (5PMish), we missed the English tour. But I have a good feeling that we'll return sooner or later. Not only is the place breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful, I just love the surroundings, the people, and...kittens!
